Founded in 2021 as a subsidiary of MSW (Maestro Spirit and Wine, established in 2014), Hamster Spirits is a family-owned and independently operated company with nearly a decade of expertise in shaping India's premium beverage market.

Mr. Pawan Thakur
With over 23 years of expertise in the liquor industry, Mr. Pawan Thakur is a respected leader and visionary entrepreneur, recognized for his deep knowledge of importing, distributing, and marketing premium wines and spirits across India. His career spans leadership roles at Allied Domecq & Spirits, Focus Brand Pvt. Ltd., Carlsberg, and Mahou India Pvt. Ltd., where he worked closely with globally acclaimed labels, including premium Spanish brands.
In 2014, he established Maestro Spirit and Wine, a pan-India enterprise that quickly became a trusted name in the import and distribution of high-quality spirits and wines. Building on this success, he launched the Hamster series under Hamster Spirits Pvt. Ltd., which has since grown into a leading platform with an extensive portfolio of both premium domestic and imported alcoholic beverages.
Mr. Thakur's leadership is defined by strategic growth, operational excellence, and an insightful understanding of market dynamics — shaping the future of India's beverage alcohol industry.
